SIGNALS IN SMOKE
Signals in Smoke is made up of P.J. Pacifico and Valerie Broussard, two singer-songwriters living on opposite sides of the United States. Although 3,000 miles apart, the duo has proven that their creation of seductive melodies and expressive lyrics has the power to grab listeners from coast to coast. Their debut ‘Coming Up For Air’ premiered on Grey’s Anatomy, skyrocketing the single up the Singer/Songwriter charts. The song has also been featured on New Music Friday and the Spotify US Viral 50 Chart. Recently their music has been used on Fox’s ‘The Resident,’ ‘The CW’s Legacies’ and ‘American Idol.’ As it did for many artists the pandemic helped to spin the songwriting-wheels in the bi-cooastal pair, who were already used to collaborating virtually. Since releasing a Christmas EP in 2021, SiS has been grinding out new music set to begin rolling out later this year.

We were both exposed to the album in childhood and were hooked on it so early. It was the first time either of us can remember hearing acoustic rock, with the perfect blend of male/female vocal harmonies. We both shared this mutual formative experience and is a big part of who we are as a band today.
