QUE PARKS

Born and raised in East Nashville, TN, Que Parks has made a name for himself cutting his teeth for years in the city’s thriving underground hip hop scene. His heart for his community is even more evident than his obvious talent once you hear about the non profit he is on leadership and involved daily for. It’s called J.C. Movement and they provide food and engaging after school activities for kids in the inner city who would otherwise not have those essential things.

Just one listen to Que’s music and you’ll hear the thread of depth, beauty and aggression that somehow all intertwines in his lyricism and style. The authentic tone of his music comes from the outpouring of honesty about his culture, his neighborhood and his experiences on the come up. Que’s rare gift of giving listeners a true window into his struggles as an African American artist in the US has built the ever growing fanbase for his artistry.

Featured in All American, NFL campaigns, Fox Sports, Shameless, MLB campaigns, ABC promos, and FBOY Island, Que Parks is making a name for himself in the sync space as well.

With Spotify playlist adds including: Come thur, New Pop Picks, Fresh Finds, and Fresh Finds: Pop, Que Parks music is rising to the top. With collaborations from Sam Tinnesz, UNSECRET, Two Socks, GREYLEE, Silverberg, Saint Middleton, and more, Que is always ready to bring something fresh.

MOST INFLUENTIAL ALBUM

FOREST HILL DRIVE | J. COLE

I remember playing this album every morning on the way  to work back in 2014.  This body of work gave me the momentum I needed to believe in myself as an artist with heartfelt lyrics and live instrumentation leading the way. Whenever I need a sense of direction while writing I can always count on Forest Hill Drive to save the day.
