CLUB DANGER

Club Danger is an electrifying alternative rock/pop duo consisting of producer/vocalist Riley Friesen (Jen Ledger of Skillet, Stephen Christian of Anberlin) and songwriter/instrumentalist Derek Mount (former FamilyForce 5). The inventive pair combines fuzzy guitar lines with contagious harmonies to create an aggressive sound that is deceptively catchy. The debut single, “Living Legend,” is an addictive rock anthem that was featured in promos for Fox’s Lethal Weapon, montages on ESPN’s ESPY awards, shows on MTV, a FIFA commercial, and much more. With a tremendously strong Spotify showing, the release has also caught the ear of countless YouTube users around the world, earning tens of millions of streams as the foundation of numerous AMV and GMV fan videos. The band’s stadium sound has provoked highly coveted invitations to perform at Nashville’s hottest showcases, as well as inclusion in hundreds of thousands of workout and pump-up playlists.

After originally meeting on tour, Riley and Derek became Los Angeles neighbors, recently relocating to Nashville and Atlanta. The partners began to collaborate regularly with artist/songwriter Sam Tinnesz (Ruelle,Banners), pouring their passions into the innovative amalgamation of their favorite riffy influences, and proudly debuting Friesen’s versatile vocal abilities. Club Danger hits hard, with future forward soundtracks that proudly accept the best elements of overdriven alternative, catchy pop, and dark dance music

 MOST INFLUENTIAL ALBUM’S

Derek - EVIL EMPIRE | RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE

I remember scraping picks and turning every knob on every pedal in my room trying to figure out how Tom Morello got the guitar sound for “People of the Sun.” Finally, my neighbor showed me a video of Rage at Woodstock, and my mind was blown when I saw him using an allen wrench to play the lick! The adrenaline in the Evil Empire changed the way I thought about music, and those mean guitar riffs are still my go-to jams in the car, at soundcheck, and anytime my telecaster and I are the only ones home.

Riley - FUTURES | JIMMY EAT WORLD

Futures was a “coming of age” record for me. It still takes me back to the country roads and small town I grew up in. The sound is so distinguishable it inspires me to put my stamp on our music in a way that it could only come from us.
