BILTMORE

Biltmore is a collaboration between two songwriters and producers, Ian Keaggy and Aaron Chafin, who began making music together in 2018. The Biltmore sound is a product of the desire to just have fun together and see what happens when less pressure is put on the workflow, and feeling good is the goal. They have released an 8 song album as of October 2020.

Ian: GRAN TURISMO | THE CARDIGANS

I discovered this album when I was around 14, it single handedly shaped my taste in music. I obsessed over the crisp female vocals on top of everything from grungy electronic beats to beautifully simple and tasteful instrumentation. All the while leaving room for exceedingly well crafted melodies and lyrics. It was everything to me, and still holds up today.

Aaron: TAKK | SIGUR RÓS

So much raw emotion on this album. It blends so many genres and is so musical but tasteful at the same time. From an audio engineering perspective there's so many things that could be pointed out as wrong, but that's what makes it so human and raw. Also the language they're singing in is a fake language which is insane!
