MOST INFLUENTIAL ALBUM

ELLA IN BERLIN: MACK THE KNIFE | Ella Fitzgerald

My most influential album to date would most likely be Ella Fitzgerald “Ella in Berlin: Mack the Knife” - I’ve had this album on vinyl for years and play it at least once or twice a week. It immediately puts me in a good mood. Her live performance in Berlin is so moving and human. I love how she forgets the words to one of the songs and improvs for three minutes long essentially writing the song on the spot. Her vocals have always been so inspiring to me.
